PvP Mid-range (100km) fleet support vs frigates/cruisers:
H: 5 heavy launchers
M: tango, sensor booster, 2 caps
L: 400mm plate, med armor rep
for tango, either use 20km disruptor or 10mn AB/MWD of your choice.
Just a note, this setup is also good for running level 3 agents even with 8 vs 1.

PvP Anti-Frig:
High:
3 Assault launchers, 2 Med NOS or
3 named rocket launchers, 2 Med NOS
Mid:
10mn MWD, 1 large shield extender, med. shield booster, 20km scrambler, web/EM shield hardener/tracking disruptor
Low:
2 BCUs or 1 BCU and 800mm plate
Dont laugh, this is guaranteed to fry frigates/AFs.
I call this setup as "The Rocket Jenny".

Yes, 4/10 complex and above if I am not mistaken.

True, but nobody uses them as a defense mechanism?
Shields for defense. Launchers to kill. Besides, you do need all the DPS you can. Put it this way, mid-slots for defense, high slots for killing.
BTW, been there, done that. Doesnt work.
